Bloomer

Privacy & your data

Effective August 7, 2026

What Bloomer collects

Bloomer creates a random, anonymous game identifier on your device. When you choose to continue, that identifier, your current active puzzle, and the time it was selected are stored on Bloomer’s server so your personal round can continue between sessions. Your word guesses are sent to validate a turn. To prevent duplicate scoring during connection retries, Bloomer temporarily stores the most recent validated guesses for up to seven days; they are tied only to the anonymous game identifier and are not used as a player profile.

Bloomer also stores aggregate game totals, such as the number of games, wins, losses, and average winning steps. These totals are not connected to your identity.

If you choose to view a definition after solving a word, Bloomer looks it up from its own on-server word catalogue. It does not send your game ID, advertising ID, or other identifying information to an external dictionary provider.

Optional rewarded ads

The Bloomer mobile apps offer optional rewarded ads only when you ask for a hint after making a guess. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address and general device or app interaction information to deliver, measure, and improve advertising, subject to your privacy choices and Google’s policies. On iPhone, Apple may ask whether you allow tracking for ad measurement and personalization; you can decline and continue playing. You can keep playing without watching an ad; hints are optional.

On mobile, you can open Ad privacy choices from the game footer whenever it is available to review or change the choices supplied by Google’s consent system.

What Bloomer does not ask for

Bloomer does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone, camera, or payment information.

How data is used and shared

Your anonymous game data is used only to operate the game and show aggregate Global Calm statistics. Bloomer does not sell personal data. Its hosting provider processes the information needed to deliver the service. Google AdMob processes data for optional rewarded ads under its own privacy policy and the choices you make in its consent form.

Retention and deletion

Your active anonymous game record remains until you delete it below. Aggregate Global Calm statistics cannot be connected to you and remain after deletion.

Delete my game data

This deletes your stored active puzzle and anonymous game identifier from this device. It cannot be undone.

Your choices

You can choose not to continue from the privacy notice. You can delete your active game data at any time using the button above.
